TapestryKidz Ecclesia! Where kids discover "God is faithful"
Join School-agers this summer as they dive into God's Word to discover that God is faithful! Kids and their leaders travel through the book of Acts to experience the birth and growth of the early church. They watch as the early Christians share with each other, they travel along with the first missionaries, and they discover the dangers that Paul faced as he told people about Jesus.
And it's all fun! Kids use Flying Propellers and a Buzz Bond Poster to get connected, experience the Bible story using all five senses, use Play Foam to create crazy sculptures, and use a Prayer Tangle and Prayer Journal to talk to God each week.
Plus, every week kids use Apply it to Life Circle to talk about how they'll apply God's Word to their lives.
Parents get involved, too!! With the unique Bringing It Home emails and weekly activities, mom and dads experience faith growth with their child!
If you would like to get on the contact list to receive these emails each week please contact Jenelle at jenelle.lambshead@tapestrychurch.ca .
Confessions of a Guilty Bystander

The Truth Hurts
During the summer months Tapestry will spend selected Sundays taking a hard look at some hard truths about the world we live in. Poverty, injustice, the environment, abortion, human-trafficking, hyper-consumerism...
This is NOT about wrongly judging others; it is about rightly judging SELF. What do we do about the FACT that each of us lives and participates in systems which unfairly benefit some while they oppress others? It is not enough to shake our heads and wish things were different. What we need are Godly convictions and Godly responses.
So where do we start? What can we do? Join us as we explore these questions together for the purpose of responding with the love and compassion of Jesus: "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour." ~Luke 4:18-19
Confirmed Dates:
Sunday May 9th Introduction of a Bystander, Kevin Loten
Sunday May 23rd Scott Forbes, International Justice Mission
More to come...stay tuned.
Do not come to these services if you are content to keep living the way you have always lived.
