Prayer
It is interesting to think about why God wants us to pray. If His will is going to be accomplished, why does He need us to pray for people and situations? If He knows the desires of our hearts, why do we need to ask Him?

The Bible teaches us that God, the almighty creator of the universe, created us because He desires a loving relationship with us. God has chosen us to be part of His kingdom and to join with Him in his eternal purposes.

Prayer is the act of partnering with God and aligning our will to His will; it is the very life line of our faith. At Tapestry we want to be a church that is all about joining with God and His purposes. God desires to move powerfully in our midst, and what's even better is that He desires to do it in partnership with us.

If you have a passion for this area of ministry, please join us - you don't have to be an expert! We would love to grow together in our love for God and our partnership with Him.

  • Sunday Gathering - Join us every Sunday at 8:15 am to pray for worship gathering, our church and our community.
  • Gideon's Army - If you have prayer requests, they can be made known through a regular prayer email to the elders and/or our church family.  Sign up for Gideon's Army here
  • Regional Prayer Nights - we gather with other churches several times per year to stand together in prayer for our community.
  • Prayer Team - we are hoping to build a prayer team that will be available to pray with people on Sundays before or after our worship gathering. Stay tuned for more information about this opportunity.
  • Support in Prayer - If you would like to pray with someone before, during, or after our worship gatherings, please approach a member of our Leadership Team (they are the individuals wearing the red name badges)
