Through partnership with existing volunteer organizations, or by establishing new ventures, we want to see God at work meeting real needs.

At Tapestry, we believe we are called to follow our Lord Jesus Christ. His life was characterized by companionship with the lost in order that they might experience the kingdom of God. In Mark 10:45 Jesus said "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many."  As his followers we are gifted by the Holy Spirit so we can serve on another and our neighbours.

This ministry will facilitate service opportunities and projects that allow our church body to serve practically. These acts of kindness and service will be in direct response to the expressed needs of those in our geographical community.

You can get involved in a number of ways:

• Jump on board with your time and energy as we launch church wide projects
• Join our planning teams and help organize an event
• Help us research the demographics and needs of the Burlington/Aldershot community.
• Get involved in your city on an individual basis with your gifts and skills
• Love those you serve and seek to know them authentically
• Partner with existing agencies to serve in areas of need in our community
• Support you in your efforts to serve your in neighbourhood
